Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) |
Aimed primarily at practising Plumbers who already have knowledge of hot and cold water systems, the package will be of interest, and useful to water inspectors and anyone who is involved with installation, design or specification of water systems or with buildings containing water systems. It will also be of benefit to those learners with limited previous knowledge.
WRAS training covers the Water Regulations (1999) and is a necessary requirement for qualified Plumbers (minimum Level 2) looking to join their local water authorities Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme, one of the plumbing competent person schemes (CPS) and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies.
Learners will be trained and assessed in the following areas:

Candidates should ideally have two years plumbing experience.
This course consists of a home study pack containing self-assessment modules. These modules must be completed and brought to the course.
Following completion of the training course candidates will be assessed by multiple choice paper.
