On completion a certificate will be issued to you.
After your induction your assessor will give you a small amount of work to complete, along with guidance, contact details and a date for your next meeting. The frequency of visits will depend on you as an individual and your employer, visits are based around support needs, commitments and when you will be working to carry out observations.
It depends on the qualification you are taking but a couple of hours a week would be a reasonable amount of time to expect, this will include researching, accessing Company policies, writing about your experiences, why you did what you did and what you learnt.
We have a flexible start, we are not tied to an academic calendar so courses can be started throughout the year with agreement from your employer.
It is acceptable to handwrite your work as long as it is legible, it is worth considering typing your work as it is easier to amend and can be sent for feedback/reassurance via email.
The portfolio belongs to you, it is your work, any assessment paperwork or verification documentation belongs to Moor Training.
This will vary according to the work you are undertaking, whilst you may be working on one unit your assessor will be looking at all of the units the observation is relevant to, so for example if you are undertaking a level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care and you are caring for someone with complex needs you will cover a lot more than if you were supporting someone to remember to take their medication.
Yes any additional support needs will be discussed with you individually at induction, there are many assessment methods that your assessor will discuss with you and more frequent visits can be arranged to support you.
