About Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is the ideal way to earn whilst you learn, combining elements of education, training, and employment.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, an apprentice is trained and guided towards a role gaining industry knowledge and the skills. Apprenticeships offer the same tasks and roles as regular employment however there is a greater amount of support. The duration of an Apprenticeship programme varies depending on your course but is typically between 12-24 months.
Earn a wage and learn at the same time, with at least 20% of your time set aside for learning. Gain official certification of your skills and start a long-term career path with the possibility of higher earnings and promotion.

Apprenticeships Offer;
• Earn & Learn
• Paid Holiday
• Training & Support
• Confidence
• Real Working Environments

There are many benefits to being an apprentice, such as; gain knowledge and skills in your preferred industry without accruing huge debts. Hand on experience- learn the skills needed in your profession in a practical setting. Networking-starting work earlier than someone who chooses an academic route allows you to build relationships ad connections with people in the industry. Self-confidence-many of our apprenticeships report that they feel very confident in their role and have more faith in their ability.
As an Apprentice you will be an employee, as well as a student. Therefore, subject to all the same rules as their colleagues. You will have a contract with salary, annual leave, and any other staff benefits. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures and will be treated just as fairly as any others.
